Hospitality manager

Base Camp Hostel, a vibrant and affordable hostel located in the heart of Adelaide, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accommodation Manager to oversee our daily operations and guest services.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing the hostel’s accommodation services, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests. This includes supervising staffs, handling guest relations, coordinating bookings, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day hostel operations
2. Supervise and support daily operations, including housekeeping and maintenance activities
3. Lead and train a small team of staff
4. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints
5. Monitor occupancy rates and assist with pricing strategies
6. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and accommodation standards

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in accommodation or hospitality management
2. Multicultural minded, combined with excellent communication and customer service skills.
3. Ability to work independently , under pressure & handle emergency issues
4. Familiarity with booking systems and property management software
5. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends
6.
