iVac WA is a leading provider of vacuum excavation and industrial services across Western Australia. As our business continues to expand, we seek a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team at our Wangara facility.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Regular servicing, maintenance, and repairs of vacuum excavation trucks and associated heavy equipment.
- Overseeing vehicle and equipment refurbishments, ensuring efficient operation and safety compliance.
- Conducting major engine and gearbox repairs and rebuilds.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, providing effective and timely solutions.
- Adhering strictly to workplace safety standards and ensuring work is completed to the highest quality.
**Essential Requirements:**
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
- Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing heavy diesel trucks and equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
**Desirable:**
- Current HR truck licence.
- Previous experience working specifically with vacuum excavation trucks is highly advantageous.
